FAQ
"How long will you be there on my wedding day?"
All of my packages are built to suit your day and your requirements. So whether you want me to cover getting ready through to the band packing up, or just the service and a few group shots afterwards, we can tailor a package to suit. Packages are very flexible and can always be expanded, with all extras listed in your contract so some couples might start out with only four or five hours coverage and upgrade as their planning develops and they work out more what they would like.
"What payment methods do you accept?"
I currently accept cash, cheques, a direct bank transfer or payment by debit card. I am also more than happy to accept Credit Cards though impose a 2% charge due to the charges I incur. Please pay any credit card payments off before you start being charged interest!!
"When will my photos be ready?"
I try my best to have your photograph ready within two weeks of your wedding day, as I don't like my clients waiting around for photos and receving them months later - that is just not fair. Similarly once you have provided me with your selection for the album I will have your first draft designed within 2 weeks, though this is normally much quicker. Once you are happy with your design, and have transferred the funds to pay for your album or albums, your design will be uploaded to the printer. My main supplier aims to turn albums around within a week, so I do everything I can to get your products to you as quickly as possible.
"How many photographs will you take on the day?"
I take an unlimited number of photographs on the day and only stop when I know I have got enough. I then remove the ones I know you won't want to see and all remaining photographs are processed, edited and added to your selection. Depending on the number of hours I am with you I normally guarantee that you will be provided with at least 250-300 edited photographs in your online gallery, though most of my couples will testify to there usually being a lot more than that.
"Can I have my photos on a disk so that I can print them myself?"
Absolutely. To have high resolution copies of each of your edited photographs on one or more (if necessary) DVDs, I charge a blanket fee of £200. This gives you the freedom to print them as many times as you like for family and friends and make up your own albums - I can also give guidance on album suppliers. Alternatively if you would just like low resolution photographs for facebook etc, these can be provided on a disk for £35. Whilst you can share these with family and friends they are not suitable for printing and you are not given permission to print them either.
"Will you do any editing on my photographs?"
Yes! Depending on the number of shots I have to work in, It takes me upwards of 40 hours to process each of your images. The service I offer is completely inclusive of editing of photographs at my discretion. I add a variety of effects to add diversity and atmosphere to your photographs, get skin tones looking perfect, change some to black and white, sepia or use spot colour. I discuss with you in advance of the wedding any effects you like or don't like. The only time a charge might be added for editing is if I was requested by yourself to do something which would take a long time...e,g, removal of a tattoo in every shot that goes in the album.
